Some Ideas I had on how to go forward without losing Franson, Kadri or Bernier.

Funny, when they're winning and it's because of luck, and I suggest ideas, then I'm just a moron who can't be happy with nice things. When they lose, I'm just a reactionary idiot who panics after a loss. I can say that a quick glance through my work would show that these ideas are consistent with things I've been saying for months and not a reaction to one loss.
Fair enough
It was still funny to see because that IS the ongoing joke
"Fire everyone after a loss"
You honestly think all their wins this year were because of luck though?
Well, not all of them. But consider: they have had almost no serious injuries to core players, they have only recently lost a game for the first time when scoring first., they have blown maybe one game when leading after two periods, they have a high PDO, they are tearing it up on special teams. All of these things are likely not things they can sustain and once they start to happen, it's not gonna be pretty. I wish they could have built a bigger lead on the playoffs during their run.
Im sorry, but youre listing a bunch of good traits and calling them bad
tearing it up on special teams
not blowing 3rd period leads
staying injury free
Youre somehow making these negative
does anybody else notice this?? I feel like im taking crazy pills!
No one is saying these are negative things. Its just that no team can continue to tear it up on special teams like they have been, no one can go without blowing third period leads and no one can stay injury free. Once these things start to happen, the team is bound to lose more games. They aren't negatives themselves, its just that when they disappear, the team will be worse.
"No team can continue to tear it up on special teams like thay have been"
They are in 9th place in both categories.
They are not scoring on 40 percent of their power plays and going 93 percent on the PK like youre making it seem
There is absolutely nothing to indicate that the special teams will get worse. Nothing!!
In fact, I can argue that the PK will get BETTER when Leo returns
"No one can go without blowing 3rd period leads" For an infinite amount of games?? I would say yes, youre right
"No one can stay injury free" Apparently there is no middle ground. Either 40 percent of your roster is slammed by injuries or you have NONE
Just absurd statements
Here are some more statements that go along with your thinking
Bernier CANNOT keep up a .92 SP
Kessel CANNOT score 40 goals
Bozak CANNOT stay above 50 percent on draws
Phaneuf CANNOT stay a positive plus minus player the whole year
Its the leafs, THESE THINGS CANT HAPPEN!
Leafs need improvements, but you just find fault in ANYTHING and it's a little ridiculous IMO
Interesting article. The thing here that I most agree with here is the need for a possession-driving defensemen. Phaneuf and Franson are poor imitators of one.
To thrive in life, you need three bones.
A wishbone.
A backbone.
And a funny bone.

Yea but you could say that for anything positive about anything haha. Take away all the positives and you end up with negatives.
Not criticizing your article though I enjoyed reading it and it has sparked discussions which is win.
Personally I feel most of the Leaf's problems are at the back end.
