Trouba (upper body) skated with the team Thursday morning, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Spin: Trouba skated as a fill-in for Evander Kane, who was given the morning off. While the blueliner won't return to game action Thursday, he's clearly coming along quicker than the Jets expected. The Jets initially expected him to be out until February, but coach Paul Maurice opened up the possibility Thursday that the youngster may be able to return before the All-Star break. He'll likely continue to increase his on-ice activities in the coming days in order to make a push for his activation.
