Who do you like more and why?

Zetts/Bouwmeester/4th round 2009 (entry draft only)
    vs
    E.Staal/Coburn/Eberle/Gaustad

Dobber has Staal and Coburn rated higher than Zetts and Bouwmeester. What do you guys think?

i\'m a huge zata fan...and despite having a ton of respect for eric staal, i\'d have to say zetterberg is top-10 in the league. staal...not yet anyway.

i think j-bouw\'s set for a big year. went to arbitration to have a 1-season shot at a huge campaign to attract massive UFA offers. the tandem of those two appeals to me.

by the way, ran into braydon coburn in a beer garden at the calgary stampede last weekend. stopped and chatted for a couple of minutes. talked about how philly dipping into team canada\'s recent WJC success for core players seems to have worked. the guy\'s built like a house, and is a dude in person.

I guess Im on the other side of the fence. I really like Coburns progression this season and see him taking over the reins here soon on a stacked Philly team. J-Bo could explode, but he has been a slow starter the last couple seasons and Florida really is in disarray right now.

Zetts may be a smidge better than Staal, but he has the injury factor. Staal really put the team on his back down the strech last season. That being said, IF Zetts can play a whole season, that top line of Zetts-Datsuyk-Hossa is just downright sick.

Both sides are strong, but I\'d give edge to Zetts/Bouwmeester.

I think both are going to have big years coming up.

BTW ..Which side are you in this trade?

I\'d get the zetts side. I love Bouwmeester, and Zetts, but zetts is an injury risk (60 to 75 GP) so I dunno since I must also give up Eberle.

It\'s really really close. My team is one I took over after a GM destroyed it so I\'m trying to rebuild more than wins.

    Default Zetts/Bouwmeester+ vs E.Staal/Coburn+

Zetts/Bouwmeester/4th round 2009 (entry draft only)
    vs
    E.Staal/Coburn/Eberle/Gaustad

Not sure what the categories are and if its a salary cap league.
I\'ll assume pts only with no positional requirements.

Zetterberg > E.Staal: Z will put up 90+ and can break 100 pts next season with Hossa and Datsyuk. I\'m not a fan of Staal but he is starting to prove me wrong. But I still have him as a 80-85 pt guy until he can put up a 90+ season.

Bouwmeester > Coburn: J-Bo is gonna breakout offensively with Ballard and Boynton now on the team to play some D. Also J-Bo looks to be on the way out of Fla in the near future so his value will go up at that time.

Eberle/Gaustad > 4th round entry pick: not sure how great teh 4th rounder is but I don\'t think it will be better than Eberle.

All in all I like the Zetterberg end of the trade.

Other than the J-Bo-Coburn comment I agree with Crazynuck. Coburn is a beast and J Bo hasn\'t done anything to show me that he\'s gonna break out. Especially on this Panthers team. Also, I see Staal having at least 90 points but I also see Zetts going over 100. Either way I\'d still go with the Zetts side of this.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.
