Berglund and Filatov this season
i don\'t know if i\'d pencil in berglund on the first or second line just yet. he still would have to beat out oshie and andymac in camp, and neither of them are slouches. andymac had a rough start to the year last year, but proved that his prior season wasn\'t a fluke by going at almost a ppg clip once he joined the blues.
i could see berglund spending quite a bit of time in peoria this year, but i still like him a lot long term. i\'m one of those who likes him better than oshie in the long run, but not for next year.
as for filatov, i think you\'d have to wait until camp to see where he\'s going to play, but i think we have to take the post-draft hype-goggles off. he\'s good, real good, don\'t get me wrong, but i could see him spending a year in junior to dominate and get him used to the north american games. unlike previous young guys who\'ve made the jump as 17-18 year olds, filatov is quite a bit smaller than them.
but then again, people were saying the same thing about patty kane last year....
