I hope Gibson gets his ass lit on fire tonight. he's pissing me off a little bit. time to sit down golden boy. perhaps go play some ahl hockey
Most of you are looking at this wrong. Gibson and Anderson are basically interchangeable this year because anaheim is so good. If anderson started the pens game and got blown out, I could very easily see gibson being 6-1 too because of how good anaheim is. That's why I don't consider anderson's 6-1 start to mean he's a lock for the starter's spot. Gibson could have easily done that too. If it's play till you lose for both goalies, then I see both of them getting long stretches of starts each, so I don't know who will come out on top in the end. It's a true platoon situation right now.

oh yes, starting again tonight with the momentum of a 38 save shutout. I predict another strong game for the golden boy.

Away game vs the Blues? I'll let him take that one.
Had him on the bench or the Chicago shutout (of course)... really interested to see how tonight goes. Watch out for that Tarasenko guy.

If he has a strong performance tonight, I can't afford not to pick him up to handcuff Andersen. Just a matter of who to drop at that point...Ladd or Bozak. I'm leaning toward Ladd.

Backup goalie usually gets the weaker sister.
Based on injuries right now, that's St. Louis, not Dallas.
Add that Gibson is coming off a strong performance, easy call for BB to roll Gibson tonight and save Andersen for tomorrow.
