Alright i am in a one-year league and have been offered Tavares in return i would trade away Getzlaf
Do i do this? I have a lot of players strictly points..Getzlaf gets hits, blocks as well as most likely a better +/- ut Tavares will likely get more points.

I hate playing with secondary cats like hits and blocks, so this might not be of help. But I really think Tavares is going to be very very close to the top of the scoring race. Possibly 100+ points. In standard cats I take that and run, with secondary, not so sure

I would make that swap. You already have a lot of grit with Backes, Hartnell, Phaneuf, Gudas, etc. I think you can afford a drop in peripherals for a boost in G, A, PPP, etc.

I'd take the guy who can get me scoring with the grit as well, and then swap one of those lower-level grit-specialists for more scoring.
Tavares might out-score Getz, but the difference will be marginal.

Getzlaf for sure. Not only does he get you lots of secondary cats but he's the only one who's bested 81 pts in his career, in fact he's done it 3 times

I think I agree with the Masses that side with Getz for his multi cat contributions... If a keeper, JT hands down.
Damn that's hard. But I'll agree with Getz. But JT bests 90 points this year IMHO. 95-100? Could be.

Other thing you may want to consider is that Anaheim plays only 27 Tues Thurs Sat games having getzlaf should give you more flexibility in your lineup
