One of these two have a real good chance of landing the golden goose and playing with Tavares and Okposo this year. The big question is, who? I'd like to think it's going to be BNelson. He did get a shot up there last year when Vanek got hurt and played well on that top line but realistically it could just as easily be Lee. It could also be Strome.
My suggestion, wait and see what happens in training camp and see who looks like they are clicking on that top line.
Until then, they are pretty even in my eyes.

It could also be Bailey. It could also be Grabovski.
It won't be Strome... unless Okposo gets bumped and that isn't going to happen this year.

Capuano listed all four in a recent article and Arthur Staple has brought up his name a number of times for that spot. Said they would each get some time during the preseason (Bailey got the first game, and a goal, for what it's worth) but Grabovski name has been in theconversation since he signed. I read somewhere that Capuano liked Nelson at center(his natural postion) because of his size , gut feeling says its Lee and thats why i drafted him. Lee as a LW would fit better.

Interesting and good to know. I will keep an eye on this, I assumed Grabo was going to play on a line with Kulemin I didnt know he was in the mix for Tavares' line.
I do think it could make sense to put a big body on that line with Tavares and Okposo to open up some space. So I am still going to hold out some hope for Lee snagging that spot after his impressive end to last season.

I think Lee may be a more natural fit on JT's flank but I do believe Nelson has the inside track on landing the gig, at least for the short term.

I think nyi.com is streaming the game on their website.
theres a chance strome and lee both start in AHL so I wouldnt bank on lee playing 82 for the isles .
Nelson is a lock but I have no idea what their intentions are .Still alot of preseason games to go so lets see what shakes down

Grabovski and Tavares didn't click at all... which means they will probably play with each other until Capuano is fired.
On another note Brock Nelson is going to be a stud regardless of who he plays with.
Food for thought on line combos... looks like Nelson and Lee could play together - with Strome,too?
