Safest bet out of all is probably Paul Stastny. After that i personally would take a lot of the Young gungs. Starting with Barkov followed by Scheifele,Monahan,Granlund Strome and Bjugstad. With PIM and Hits another guy i would take a closer look later on is Hanzal.

Kesler is too injury prone IMO and the rest of the etablished ain´t that impressive .

This is standard cats + Points + Hits.
So, gotta bump those scorers and anybody that Hits.

For ranking clarity, if I move a guy up, I've made him green.
If I move a guy down, I've made him red.
BOLD anybody that is long-term value (because they are young).

Giving this post a bump great input so far. I was thinking of getting two multi cat guys, and two potential guys.

So something like this... Brayden Schenn,Jordan Staal and then Ennis, Bjugstad. My rational is I don't want to be reaching for centers in my draft because I feel all these guys you can throw a blanket over (40-60 points varying multi cat stats). So is it really worth it to draft a guy like Valtteri Filppula in the second round good for 50 over a guy like Nick Bonino in the last round good for 40?

Filppula put up great stats last year with getting huge minutes from Stammer out.
I think Filpp really clicked with Palat too, IIRC.
I'm not sure about this year.

Last I read, Stammer was centering Callahan and Palat in camp.
And I read that Tyler Johnson was centering a line.
Which means Filpp is centering another line.
Which, in total, means that Cooper is looking to run 3 lines deep forwards.
That's lessened minutes for everybody and like Filpp is looking at PP2 time... perhaps minimal time since Stammer is sometimes a full 2min PP guy.

    Yes, I'd late draft them.

    And re: Bjugstad.
He's somebody that a bunch of us were very high on at end of last season.
Well... stupid Florida... brings in Dave Bolland for $5m.
Bolland being a center... where does that put Bjug?
Down, I think. Stupid Bolland eating Bjug's minutes.
I love Bjug's tools & hockey sense, but how much ice-time will he get with FLA rolling out 3C: Barkov, Bolland, and Bjug... I assume in that order.
Unless they are paying Bolland $5m to be their C3.
    Yeesh.

With those cats, I like kesler, schenn, scheifele, barkov, bjugstad in that order.. Your league set up is perfect for what Kesler brings to the table, and I am confident we will see a resurgence from him this year. He would be my top pick quite easily.

Bjugs currently looks like he might actually beat Barkov for 1C this season. He has been by far the best and most consistent forward in training camp. He bulked up a ton and is highed incredibly high by Gallant as per comments. I do not see Bolland pushing him down to line 3. He will get his fair share of minutes. Like usual i do not agree on your Panthers assesment Pengwin. Everything else like usual is spot on :P

I agree with these choices. Kesler has had his injury troubles, but he'd bring you the most production in the 3 year window. Schenn should take the next step this season and he brings a solid amount of hits. The other 3 young guys have the highest upside for your league settings.
