I was trying to think of a way to deal with the prospects.
Wondered if adding 3 bench spots for prospects would be worth it, just wouldnt be allowed to start them or something - may be hard to patrol especially with goalies.

I have added a list of prospects to the Commissioner's Note. I will update it each time someone posts their intentions to add/drop a prospect. If you want to add someone, search the list first. If you add an owned prospect to your main team I will reverse the move, and you will burn a transaction for the year.

Sorry about grabbing Lack. I wasn't paying attention to the guys who were drafted, and should have realized it when I saw that Aaron Ekblad was still on the FA list (which of course he isn't really).

Agreed, I almost grabbed Nelson myself but learned from my previous "Lack" mistake. What do other leagues with farm systems do?

My espn league, we just made a thread for the farm teams. Before adding a player check the list.

We imposed a $10.00 fine for picking up players who were on someone elses farm team, that wouldnt work here.

But maybe we could come up with some kind of penalty.

Just to clarify, as long as there is a roster spot open, can someone on your farm team play any games? And can you move them up to the main roster and back down to the farm team?

The only way to prevent this is to ADD 3 bench spots to each team and tell people to NOT put their prospects in their lineups!

Up but not down.
If you dropped Eberle to call up Ekblad for example, Ekblad is now permanently on your main roster (sending him down would mean he would have to claim waivers in real life) and I highly doubt he would in this league!

So about injuries. If I want to move an injured guy to the IR, how do I do that in Yahoo? Apparently RNH is out day to day, but if it lasts any longer I am not going to get rid of him but I want someone to go in his place while he stews on IR. Help please.
