Fantrax Minors Functionality
Hello all!
We're in the process of switching from Yahoo to Fantrax this summer, but found the minors system to not be perfect. The only issue is we cannot charge a player add (40 move limit) to move a player from minors to the main roster. This basically makes the minors an extension of the bench for minor eligible players as they can be rotated in and out of the active lineup without the cost of a player add.
Have you guys found a workaround for this, or how do you handle this problem?

There isn't as it currently stands although you can make it a financial transaction through the Fantrax Fee options. For example everytime a player does said move they incur a fee (which you don't have to charge but just use it as a reference) and just track the movements manually. We have been debating doing something of the sort in the future if they fail to add in a feature which can be implemented with automaticity.

I've sent them many many many requests for some sort of functionality like this.
There wouldn't be a way to do anything like that with moves as you cannot lock the minor players.
You can keep track my looking at the team service time and cross referencing it with the minor league players, but that's about it.

it's tedious , but .....
gm's can own more than one team in fantrax premium .
you can give every gm a second team for farm players and house them in a seperate division.
if gm's want to call up / send down farm players they would need to trade between their farm/pro team .
you can set it up so commish has to approve/process these types of trades
