lol, he's actually a very active member here and most of his trades are quite fair. Some of those players he's drafted and some others he traded for while their stock was low.

It's an interesting thought. He's the kind of guy who would probably take that too, though I would never hear the end of it. A few other managers already grind my gears over "taking advantage" of this GM lol.

Last season I was 2nd and the season before I was 3rd. So far this summer I've traded Hiller away for Oshie to help make up for Giroux and Backes likely losing RW and being forced into C.

The competition in the top three is stiff. The champ from the past two seasons has Crosby, Malkin, Ovi, Perry, Dubinski, Karlsson, Lundy, Rask, and Price to name a few. The other main challenger has Stamkos, Tavares, Thornton, Hall, Patches, MSL, Subban, Hedman, Pietrangelo, Tank, Rinne, and Holtby. The rest of their teams aren't exactly full of slouches either so part of my strategy is hoping for key injuries to their players I'm aiming for 1st though 2nd or 3rd is most likely.

You guys need a serious keeper redraft. That is actually terrible. How anyone else remains in that league is beyond me but I would've quit by now haha. Not even fair in the least bit. Literally impossible how someone gathers those assets with their own without trade raping people who are clueless.

Seems like a few weak GMs have made enough trades to basically ruin the competitive integrity of the league. I'd lose interest in that one VERY quick.

UDL team in my sig was looking like that, but some GM replacements have started to even the unbalance somewhat.

It can happen.. I have been lucky with youth, and lucky we do not have a farm.. Now while my team isn't those, I'm happy.. During their rookie seasons I saw kids I liked and went out and made crazy offers(at the time) and got.. Malkin, giroux, rask, Benn, karlsson, Kopitar, Yandle, nyquist, hall

YAh we had that problem in ours even though its all friends. One guy wasn't very interested in his team and was getting heckled by another guy to give him Tavares since he didn't care lol. Tavares for Hartnell and Zidlicky lol. My friend took some serious convincing to get rid of the trade (he was being very stubborn). Brought in some new gms and everyone has a decent set of keepers. We almost considered a whole redraft as a few of our teams were a little stacked but it's evened out.
