Carlson is my guy, though I can see them milking Green in his last year and trying to drive up his value for a trade maybe.
Who will emerge as the Caps #1pp. Apologies if this has been posted before.

How long have people been claiming a breakout from Carlson?? It's been way too long.

Has to be Carlson. I can see them running Green on PP1 for the early part of the season to drive up his value, but they'll trade him before season's end and Carlson will be their guy. I don't really see Niskanen being their guy on the point for PP1. Carlson is the one with the solid, quick, slapper that he can get on net from anywhere, and he is the one you want carrying the puck up on the powerplay.
You do realize he's only a 1990 kid and the stats he has put up - despite being behind Green on the depth chart for PP1 for most of that time - is rather remarkable. His breakout will happen - and it will happen when Green gets shipped out this year.
As soon as 2015-16, I could see Carlson being a regular 45-50 pt guy.
I think Green will have first dibs on PP time. I feel like it's his to lose.
looks like Carlson is the man thus far on the PP but he hasn't impressed at all. Niskanen seems to be after him, but also hasn't impressed much. So it's only a matter of time before green(maybe once fully healed from injury) will be the guy. He seems to be off to a decent start without much PP time.
Green has been good to start the year, I imagine he'll find his way onto the top unit sooner than later. That's his bread and butter.
