No, they were designed to kill things. Yes, they have since spun off other reasons like target shooting, etc. But the original intent of inventing a gun was to kill things, be it hunting or military. It evolved from muskets, which were created to replace bows and arrows, which were invented to replace slingshots, which were designed by cavemen to offer up a way to hunt or kill from a distance rather than just using clubs. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, or what I do or do not support. I'm just clarifying the facts.

Gun advocates say "fire arms can be safe when used safely, even in the hands of Children". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That statement define's what is trully wrong with Gun Advocates.

This 9 year old girl not only competes with guns, but also is apparently an instructor... (WHAaaa?)

Then watch 1:14 when she tries to recite the gun safety tips. I mean it's one thing to memorize rules (I caught that slip and that eye glance up and to the left trying to retrieve the memorized material from her brain), but true safety exists when one LIVES those rules and doesn't have to think about them. Not something a 9 year old can or should be expected to do IMO. ALSO supports the question of this thread... "What the hell America?"

And then Dad...in his infinite wisdom at 0:50 seconds left...

I actually agree. A healthy fear is not a bad thing, but it really is like so many other dangerous things. Anyways, I don't imagine we're going to agree here...haha. The funny thing is my kids don't have any guns. Have never fired one (except for a pellet gun).
