Nice thread Big Baby. We do traditionally do a 5 Fearless Forecasts thread every year and it always makes an interesting thread to revisit later in the season and at the the end of course.
Here are mine -
1 - Montreal misses Gionta and Gorges more than they realized and just squeak into the playoffs to be dispatched quickly in 4 games straight courtesy of the Bruins (revenge )
2 - Philadelphia wins the draft lottery and lands McDavid
3 - 4 teams from the East (CLB, DET, PHI, NYR) who made the playoffs last year miss out to make way for NYI, NJ, WSH, TOR
4 - PK Subban scores less than 40-points even though he plays all 82 games
5 - Dallas wins the Central after STL and CHI both struggle
Without me, it's only "aweso".
I haven't read through all the responses so apologies if some of these have already been suggested.
1.) Florida makes the playoffs
2.) Burakovsky wins the Calder
3.) Barrie finished 2nd in Dmen scoring behind Karlsson
4.) Yakupov gets less than 40 pts
5.) Zetterberg finishes top 5 in scoring.
1 - Nate MacKinnon scores 90+ points
2 - St. Louis struggles, Hitchcock is fired, they miss the playoffs
3 - Evgeni Kuznetsov outscores Alex Ovechkin
4 - Dany Heatley's corpse reanimates and scores 35 goals
5 - Jakub Voracek leads the Flyers in scoring

1. Calgary finishes the regular season as the best Canadian team and makes the playoffs, led by Karri Ramo.
2. Martin St. Louis scores more points than Stamkos.
3. Neal and Ribeiro click in Nashville; Neal scores 40 goals and Ribeiro hits 80 points.
4. Washington wins the Cup, thanks to Ovechkin scoring 60 goals, Carlson winning the Norris with 60 points and Holtby having a season like Bishop in 2013/14.
5. I win the Rocky Horror Roto Show. Ok, this one is not so bold.
