Some help for the ramblings challenge?

Hey guys- gonna take a crack at this- but was just wondering a few things.

Does anyone know how to turn a word into a link? Like the word shows up in blue- then you click on it as a link?

Anyone out there with an editing background? I know its a loose informal style but i wouldnt mind a sober second look as it were.

Lastly- Im obviously going to be going elbow deep in my own research- but any hot button issues out there anyone wanna hear some ramblings on? Lol- I know this is the whole purpose of the exercise and I already have well over the word count worth of material- but just thought Id poll dobbernation to see if theres anything that jumps out right now.

to make a link just highlight the word or words and then click the little button that looks like a globe with a chain link at the bottom and it will popup to ask you for the url you want

for example:

NHL.com

Yea man- I read your post- solid stuff! i think two things will emerge out of this- its gonna be crazy difficult to decide on just one- and regardless of the winner- theres gonna be a lot of juicy ramblings floating around for everyone!!

Not sure if the [ url ] [/ url ] tags would work in the ramblings though. I have a feeling that's more HTML then BB Code, which would be (ir memory serves) something like <a href> </a href> tags.

I spent the better part of an hour linking my Ramblings to their sources, and still don't think they worked. Can someone try one, and let me know what happens? Thanks.

The links work fine for me (I clicked on 3 or 4).

Weird thing though - the 'Read more' link on the left side isn't there for me. I had to use the drop down menu on the upper right, go to Archived Ramblings and click on "August 13th" to get to it.
