Well, a sprawling Mississauga, Ont., mansion once owned by Hockey Night in Canada‘s Don Cherry is set to hit the auction block on Aug. 17.
The 10,500-square-foot home, being handled by realtor Sam McDadi, features a modest 12 bathrooms, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a four-car garage, five bedrooms and nine fireplaces.
It white house (lowercase) stands tall and wide on a 2.5-acre lot that backs onto the Credit River Ravine.
Swing by 2901 Mississauga Rd. and take a look for yourself before you gather up the approximate $8 million the property is expected to sell for later this month.
The sale of the palatial estate is being handled by Ritchies auctioneers. St. Paddy’s Day outfit not included.

Looked a little weird with the lack of hockey stuff in it. Looked more like Grandma's house with that awful furniture.

If I live in a world where Don Cherry could ever afford that house i would burn it down in protest.....Don Cherry is simply the worst hockey personality I have ever seen and contributes less than nothing to the sport.....I would say in fact he negatively impacts it. Lets say you are just a casual fan and you see this clown act you would have to think the sport of hockey is more ridiculous than the WWE. Then you research this "sideshow" and realize he used to coach?!? Professionally!!! Sorry my "I cant stand Don Cherry" soapbox again....it always works me up!
