I think "Pocahontas 3D" gives it too much credit.

There is heavy-handed/clumsy force-feeding of a message, like Chronicles of Narnia - but that seems downright subtle compared to Avatar.

Well, you can't blame the movie makers for Narnia. The whole point of writing those books was to give kids a fun way to learn about God.

See, I would say Titanic... but the scene when the boat is sinking (spoiler!) and the guy falls off and hits the propeller causing a giant gong noise is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Watching Sharknado 2 right now - Oh dear sweet God this is an awful movie!!!

And he didn't even have to choke the machine either.....ahhh...the horror. And the rolling statue of liberty head that just never lost any momentum after hitting so many objects.

Saw bits of the original Sharknado last night... I guess when your entire premise relies on sharks getting transported by tornadoes you basically can say f*ck it to science in general.

Dissipating tornadoes with bombs? Ok!

Here's one general movie thing that always bugs me: airplane decompression. After the first second or two it won't keep sucking out everything that isn't nailed down and it sure as shit isn't going to pull a human out the hole 5 minutes later. /end mini-rant

But I did love Avatar, and Jurassic Park. So not sure why you guys hate those? Avatar, I had NO desire to see, but one night we were bored and decided to give it a shot, and were pleasantly surprised.

Jurassic Park holds a special place in my heart, as I went to it in theaters for my 9th or 10th birthday party. Loved everything about it. Perhaps wouldn't like it as much if I watched it again, but the memory to a movie usually holds up.

Same reason I "love" the police academy and porky movies. Loved them as a kid, and although a tad boring now, can't start hating them now cause they were a big part of my movie watching when I grew up.

I love Jurassic Park too just because as a kid, it was on of my favorite movies. A couple of years ago it was rereleased in cinemas (I think for it's 20th anniversary) and I went to see it on the big screen, because I did not have the chance to see it when I was a kid. Loved it!
