Yeah, those happened.
This one's a runaway, and rightly so.
Mike Green
Cam Ward
Over the last 5 years Ward has had 1 good year 2009/10 and 1 average year 2011/12. The last two years have been so painful, most backups have played more and posted better numbers. The only ones I could see voting for Green would be anyone who traded for him after 2009/10 and sold the farm to get him. Green's number over the last two seasons have been middle of the road (better than .5ppg and chipped in with 64pims last year).
The only reason Ward is still in Carolina is that Rutherford was still calling the shots when they could have shipped him off to Edmonton last year at the deadline. Maybe he was still dreaming of the spring of 2006
So when I compare the two Green has been average and Ward has been absolutely terrible.
The only salvation for Canes fans is that Khudobin can be the go to guy.
So Ward is a clear cut winner!

By Green winning this cage match, does that make him the ultimate "Most Frustrating Player" or does it make anyone who still values him as a 70pt D-man ... well, you get the idea.

I voted for Ward. Goaltending is such an important part to any fantasy team and depending on the size of your league, Cam Ward can be the back breaker on any team who relies on him for any fantasy points. At least with Mike Green, he's still productive and even when he isn't, you can hide his crappy fantasy points easier.
