Love/hate the quick turn arounds for series wins. Tmo is the start guys. TMO.

PS…Volquez is pitching game 1 for the Royals. My guess is against Estrada.
Estrada, Price, Dickey, Stroman. Just off the top of my head. And we’ll get Ventura and Ceuto in Toronto I think.

If we manage to make it to the World Series I don't think I'm gonna survive it. As much as I didn't want to admit it at the time, that blunder was fully on Martin. The ump botched it by calling the play dead, but Odor was scoring either way. Either way, you can call it karma or you can chalk it up to baseball gods, but the better team won the game yesterday.

So many thoughts...so so many thoughts....can't put into words. All I can say is I was on the verge of tears yesterday after they won.

Moving on, bring on KC. I hate those little punks. I can't wait till JD hits a comebacker right into that little punk Volquez's face.

So 2 teams have come back from 2-0 in the ALDS series and won that series.
2012 Giants, 2001 Yankees. Both made it to the World Series, Giants won it.

Haha how many heartbeats did you have in those 7 hours rewatching the 7th? My guess is less than 10

I think it's safe to say the Jays have been looking forward to playing the Royals again since their dustup in August. Let's see if Ned Yost likes the umpires still after a few games.

First of all: The Cone of Silence worked so yaa me.

Second: What. A. Game. It had everything that one could have hoped for: 2 solid performances by starting pitchers, key hits, a crazy play with the umpires not sure about the rules, a massive HR and bat toss, 2 bench clearing incidents. Damn, I was losing my mind when the Rangers were given the 3rd run in the 7th and then lost it a second time when Bautista did what Bautista does. Very excited for the next round to start Friday.

I am so sick and tired of hearing people talk about Colabello like he should only be in the lineup against lefties. I just read another sports article that did that and I NEED TO RANT ABOUT IT.

    Colabello's split stats:

    vs. lefties: 91 AB, 28 hits, 3 2B, 7 HR, 16 RBI, 8 BB, 26 K, .308 avg, .935 OPS
    vs. righties: 242 AB, 79 hits, 16 2B, 8 HR, 38 RBI, 14 BB, 70 K, .326 avg, .868 OPS

    Smoak's split stats:

    vs. lefties: 39 AB, 10 hits, 4 HR, 10 RBI, 1 BB, 8 K, .256 avg., .839 OPS
    vs. righties: 257 AB, 57 hits, 16 2B, 1 3B, 14 HR, 49 RBI, 28 BB, 78 K, .222 avg., .757 OPS

THAT'S AS A SWITCH HITTER TOO. Colabello is just flat out a ****ing better hitter regardless of who he's hitting against. With the Jays set to face a slew of righties on KC Cola better be in the goddamn lineup.
