This is quite the career this kid is having already. The price tag on him in a trade could be just as high as Donaldson the former MVP. The closers/RP market is dwindling by the day which would just push the price up and up.

To make it clear, I really like Osuna and it's not like I'm pushing to have him traded, but damn, the return could be huge.

Let's just hope he doesn't turn into Feliz down the road.

Funny Feliz wasn't a big K guy (71Ks, 69IP in 2010), but I did want him for the Jays this yr. Good thing they didnt listen to me.

Wow...that's a huge jump. I guess because he's way younger and still producing at that elite level. A 1999 baby whereas Moncada is 1995.

Also he's just in high single A as of Sunday for Vlad, so he could drop by the end of the season. He's racking against sub-par pitching. But I like how they have some names there in the top 100 now. I think at the beginning of the year they had 1 guy?

    Osuna an All-Star.

Replacing a guy who's pitching Sunday for his MLB team:

Man....the White Sox just pulled in the #5 prospect in the MLB for Quintana. I know he has potential and is younger....but this just gets me even more excited about what the Jays could haul in the coming weeks.

They have to make deals to do so. One hopes they pull the trigger and pull it big.

for what Quintana got the WSox... Estrada, Liriano and any other pitcher would get them a top prospect (Quintana netted the No8 overall prospect PLUS others).

No8/No5 prospect, doesnt matter the rank at that point. MLBs ranking is No8, but they aren't updated for mid-season.

I just hope they do something soon....because if by chance they come out of the gate and win 7 of 10....people might get optimistic and ruin it all haha.

But how about the ChiSox. Moncada and now Jimenez. Add in whoever they end up getting for Robertson and this farm team is stacked.

No1, No8, No11, No23, No28, No36, No59, No63, No68. They own 13% of the top 68 prospects. Not all will make it, but if half do that team is set already.

So the WS can trade Abreu (he would be insane the return he’d get. He hasn’t even entered his arbitration years), Robertson (big haul from the Nats likely), Frazier, Melky, Kahnle, Holland, and Shields could make this teams prospect pool just too ridiculous.

Being in the ALC they could destroy that division for years.

They don't have to, but the return would be insane. And he's at that age when these prospects will be ready, he'll be past his prime. They don't need him on the roster really (besides a vet being around), so if someone makes an offer that's been in line with all these other deals then why wouldn't they?

Controllable years in baseball is huge, Abreu is like the golden trophy for a rebuilding team to have when it comes to fire-sale.
