Nothing about the Rays surprises me anymore.. They have dominated the Jays for a long time now..

I just hope we can go into New York and win the series!!

One more win and it will be the longest winning streak in Jays history!!

Cobb, Moore, Bellatti, Odorzzi and Smyly all on the DL, and Jennings and Loney not doing well this yr. I was expecting them to turn over at some point. That team if healthy would be very good. But that’s baseball, you gotta play through the inevitable injuries.

Sanchez should be the closer anyway. And since SPs are impossible to acquire, I'm more than comfortable giving Scott Copeland another look with Sanchez shutting the door in the 9th

I hope everyone took Grapes advice and voted for the Blue Jays All-Stars. Martin, Smoak, Travis (should have voted Goins actually), Reyes, Donaldson, Edwin, Saunders, Pillar, and Bautista all got my votes. All 70 of them (2emails)

I also hate the voting in for All-Stars. Look at the voting:

Actually Cecil did his job and the Jays should have got a double play before that RBI single that tied it up..

Not sure the double play was there, but he definitely should have gone to 2nd and tried for it.

Doesn't change the fact that Cecil was shaky that entire inning... ugh so disappointing!

Cecil is not a closer. When is AA/JG going to figure this out. I hate watching them let another one slip away when they had it in their hands.

I felt as soon as he had the runner going back towards first, throw that ball to first base, get the force and then have that other runner in a run down.. But I guess that's easy to say after the fact!!

Sucks how for the first time in 11 games our bats were quiet except for Joey. I’m not blaming anyone on this game, tough all the way through. With a couple of outs, you wish Reyes was given the call to steal, and maybe not as massive as a shift in the outfield but hindsight is 20/20, the key is to not go on a losing streak here, shake your head and keep moving forward.

After going against Syndergaard, they get another hard thrower in Harvey, so hopefully they have adjusted to the speed because it’ll be another tough one. Guys like Colla, Pillar, Donaldson, and even Edwin, with the hard throwers, just get your bat on it, with the speed coming in you’ll hammer it without much force.
