I have always wished that the scorers weren't so lenient and also that they were allowed some subjectivity in giving out errors.
Saunders and Upton looked like the Bad News Bears on that particular play. And yet it's scored a home run? Just seems so wrong to me.
Upton has been very good overall and will be a great RF or LF once Pillar is healthy. I want to say Saunders should have conceded the double but it was a really weird fly ball that just kept drifting, an above average fielder has a shot at making the catch for sure. Upton was brutal on the play, first with the no cover, then the slip and fall (haven't actually seen what happened just Upton on his ass with a weak throw to the cut-off). How Upton didn't get an error in there somehow is beyond me.
Only saving grace was Osuna came right back in the next night and got the 1-run save.
