Nailbiter but while i would have said Granlund before last year it would simply toss a coin. Niku has a great enviroment as well and seems like the better Goal scorer while Granlund is more well rounded.

This may or may not change anything for you, but it looks like it will be Hemsky playing with Benn and Seguin, not Nich.

It was a quote from Jim Nill in Freidman's 30 thoughts that they want Hemsky as a passer to compliment the two shooters in Benn and Seguin.

Doesn't really affect Nich's long term upside but worth noting if it comes down to splitting hairs to decide.

    Yes.
Granlund is either C1 or C2 for Minnesota.
This means he'll be playing the whole season with two of these five guys on his wings: Parise, Vanek, Pominville, Coyle, Neiderreiter. Pretty awesome wingmates.

I like Nichu - huge upside.
But (but!), I would think that DAL will try to balance lines a bit which puts Nichu on line 2 with Spezza.
That's OK I guess, but it's not the Benn-Seguin upside that many "assume" will happen.

Also, with Spezza along... the PP1 forwards are Benn-Seguin-Spezza.
That's a HUGE hit to player value not being on an elite PP1. Most PP1 forwards will rack up 20-30 PPP. PP2 forwards are usually closer to 10 PPP.

    Teammate/linemate/situational strength... favors Granlund, IMO.

Granlund for sure here, I have him down for 60-65 pts this season, Nichuskin for 50
