    Question Perron vs Eller

I have been offered the following
My Perron, Jimmy Hayes for his Eller, Yakimov, and a 2nd round pick in 2016

This is a Salary Cap League with the following stats
    G,A,P/M, PIM,SOG,GWG,PPP,SHP,Hits, Blocks + Goalies
    Postitions: 2C,2LW,2RW,6F,6D,2G 4 B, 20 Prospect 14 total teams

What is Ellers upside? What do people think that he will sign for? Is this a decent deal?

    Right now my team is:
    C: Koivu, Steen, Kuznetsov,Jenner, Legwand
LW: Marchand, Zuccarello, Perron, Raymond, Wilson C.
RW: Carter, Read, Vrbata, Coyle, Hudler
D: Pietrangelo, Carlson, Voynov, Markov, Petry, Hickey
    G: Halak, Varlamov, Neuvirth
P: Grigorenko, Yakupov, Monahan, Pearson, Ceci, Brunner, Hayes, Morin, Hayes, Holland, McNeil, Burakovsky, Poirier, Elie, Collberg, Slepyshev, Jankovski, Gustafsson, Lehner, Pickard (Calvin)

Our Salary cap Hit is 89 Million, so with the recent contracts I am right up against the cap. In fact I had to trade away Filppula and all I got was a 4th rounder because everyone is in cap problems.
    C:Barbashev,Monahan,stephensen,Jenner, Bennett
    LW:Forsberg,Huberdeau,Jeannot, Kreider, Marchand
RW: Konecny, Pastrnak, Kaliyev,Zadina, Zuccarello, Wheeler
D: Bouchard, Carlson, Chabot, Jones, Pietrangelo, Weegar, Valimaki
    G:Hart, Vanecek, Montembeau

Forward Prospects: Frost, Glass, Kostin, Tomasino, Berggren, McLeod R., Veleno, Robertson N., Lapierre, Nadeau, Suzuki, Thomas, Barlow,Jarventie, Martino, Bokk, Edmonds, Firkus, Lysell, Rosen
Defense Prospects:Walman, Liljegren, Benoit, Grans, Korchinski
Goalie Prospects: Francouz, Vladar, Ersson, Rodrigue, Bjarnason

    i'd keep Perron

Eller will still be on 3rd line and doenst look like he will be on top 2 lines with Desharnais, Galchenyuck( they want him at C ) and Plekanec
    6 teams dynasty pool,points only,no pos. for F, Keep All, 12F, 6D, 2G count.....backup=6F, 4D, 2G, 4 roster moves( 2 at 30th game and 2 at NHL deadline)
    F- , P. Kane,Eichel, DeBrincat, Kopitar, Wheeler, Kuznetsov, Point, Huberdeau, Verhaghe, Bergeron,Keller, Batherson, Schmaltz, W.Nylander, Buchnevich,Rantanen
D- Makar, Gostisbehere, Carlson, Burns, Barrie, M. Rielly, Hronek, DeAngelo, KA Miller
    G- Vasilevskyi, Sorokin, Campbell, Markstrom

I could see Eller getting close to 50pts this year. Could be more but I'd stick with my initial guess.
As for his salary I don't know, maybe something around 2.5-3M$.
    Weekly H2H points only (Year 9 - 2015-16)
    12 teams limited keeper (keep 6 + 1 Rookie)
13 round draft - Unlimited Trades - No Waivers - No IR
4 Team Playoffs (last 2 reg. season weeks)
Rookies are 23 years old or younger in the draft year and never reached 60pts (forward), 40pts (defense), 25 wins (goalie)

    Start : C RW LW Utility D D G
    Points : A - G = 1 pt W = 2 pts SO = 1pt

    C - S.Stamkos, J.Thornton, K.Turris, D.Stepan
    LW - O.Palat, B.Saad, A.Burakovsky
    RW - B.Wheeler, T.Toffoli, C.Atkinson
    D - E.Karlsson, S.Gostisbehere, C.Fowler, A.Ekblad, A.Larsson
    G - C.Hellebuyck, D.Dubnyk, A.Niemi, K.Lehtonen

Big Eller fan here, but too many question marks with his usage next year in Montreal. I agree that he'll probably sign for around 2.5-3M$. But given the uncertainty for now, I'd stick with Perron.

With your league cats, definitely stick with Perron, and his cap hit is really reasonable as well for his production. Yakimov and the pick have zero value in this deal.

Perron seems to be getting better and better at taking dumb penalties, so he has that going for you in your league. 90 PIMs this season
