I talk with this GM a lot I know how he works trade wise, he's not budging on his price level for Giroux. (Price + Toews or Kessel)

I came back at him with Crawford for Pavelski, he said he would think about it.

I still see value in Pavelski in our league - C/RW that will put up ~60 PTS plus FOW

But definitely not worth giving up Price.

Be careful not to let the main purpose of trading with him get away from you. It started with him saying Giroux was available, and you were interested, so that was your target. Now that he's offered Pavelski don't feel that you have to make a deal with him. If you're happy with Pavelski for Crawford so be it, but it's starting to seem like you are making the deal for him rather than yourself.
