I'd say a VERY slight drop off in total points, if any. He might be more heavily relied on if that's even possible.

Ottawa is a big mess right now so I can't see how his numbers won't take a hit, +/- in particular but he's still an elite defenseman so I can't see him not getting 60+ pts if he's healthy.

Spezza was often injured and Karlsson was putting amazing numbers anyway. They still have good players around him so Karlsson will produce anyway

I find it funny how there's always a thread about how Karlsson will dip to 65 points.
As long as he shoots he’ll be fine. Every yr minus his rookie yr he’s had a ~7% shooting percentage, roughly 3 shots a game too for the longest time. With regards to +/-, if he’s got a bad +/- that means Ottawa’s prolly losing the game, which means they have to score, which means Karlsson pushes offensively, which means more points.
As a Karlsson owner, I expect 65 points, but realistically hope for 75. Just to keep me happy.

I'd say losing Spezza is a 5-7pt hit.
But I'd still expect Karlsson to fall in the 60-69pt range... as long as he plays 75-82games.

Karlsson will rake if healthy.....Spezza was a face off beast so a team that already has problems controlling possession will now get worse. For those still thinking Lehner is some kind of asset in Goal you may want to ditch that fantasy before he becomes the next markstrom.....just my 2 cents

I still see Karlsson as a Yandle in Phoenix/Campbell in Florida/Streit in NYI - a great stud that can produce despite the hot garbage around him.
