So Demko wasn't first goalie selected? Interesting.

There is a run on goalies now - three goalies gone within four picks:
34. Calgary - Mason McDonald
36. Vancouver - Thatcher Demko
37. Carolina - Alex Dedeljkovic
I think this means that NHL teams are seeing that G's are going - and may be worried that they don't slip to them with a later pick. You may see this run continue (you see this happen all the time in fantasy drafts, right? haha)

As soon as I say that, Washington takes a goalie 39th - Sabres traded 39th pick to Washington for No. 44 and No. 74
39. Washington - Vitek Vanecek
So four goalies in six picks.

Here is what the Fantasy Prospects Report has to say about Nashville pick (at 42) Vladislav Kamenev:
Vladislav Kamenev, LC (Magnitigorsk, RUS)
A ranking for Vladislav Kamenev needs to be prefaced with the Russian Passport disclaimer, especially since he is competing outside of North American rinks. But there’s plenty of promising reports indicating that Kamenev could end up being one of the best Russians from the ’14 draft. Captain of the Under-18 World Championship squad, Kamenev isn’t your prototypical flashy Russian as he enjoys physically engaging and employs a strong defensive game. In the physical areas of the rink, Kamenev seems to excel showing good puck battle compete and advanced protection skills. He can unleash a hard shot but his offensive upside isn’t overly enticing. Overall, Kamenev owns the projectable pro skills and versatility that teams seek out.
Upside: Versatile two-way forward (Nikolai Kulemin), 25-30-55+
Rank: 44

Lots of goalies flying off the board now. Interesting pick by the Sabres with Jonas Johansson, since they already have a couple young goalies on the way.
Curious what is known about Maxim Letunov... Six two, one fifty five, that's pretty thin.
Leafs just traded for Roman Polak
Looks like it's for Guunarsson and a pick.
