    Default Huberdeau

    Hi Everyone,

Been offered 3rd, 8th, 9th picks for Huberdeau

Available players are from this years draft.

My feeling is that Huberdeau is better and further along than anyone I would draft.

    Thoughts?

Are you rebuilding or on the cusp of contending? That being said, it seems like a decent price given Huberdeau's regression last season, but he is sure to rebound.

Huberdeau is still pretty young, and is assuredly going to be in the NHL racking up points next year. One of the three picks may make the NHL next season, and of course that isn't a guarantee.

Huberdeau was banged up and was in his sophomore season last year.. If you trade him for a bunch of '??' you may regret the move..

I would recommend holding onto Hub's..

I would be interested to know who is available from prior year drafts as if you would be able to get some quality prospects, in addition to those available during the current draft, with the 3rd, 8th and 9th picks I might support taking this trade.
    10 Team Keeper League, 15 Keepers (max 2 goalies), 10 prospects, Start 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 3 Utility, 4D, 2G

    Stats: G, A, P, +/-, PIMS, SOG, STP; W, SO, SV%, GAA

C: MacKinnon, Scheifele, Larkin, Pavelski (RW)
LW Panarin, Ehlers , Ovechkin, Verhaeghe (C), Beauvillier, Killorn
RW: Kucherov, Pastrnak, Wheeler, Mangiapane (LW)
D: Makar, Hughes, Krug; Pietrangelo, Schmidt, Andersson, Gostibehere
    G: Vasilevskiy, Hellebuyck, Bobrovsky

Prospects: Sorokin (G), Askarov (G), Raymond (LW), Kaliyev (RW), Perfetti (RW), Norris (C), Kaprizov (LW), Hayton (C), Brannstrom (D), Boqvist (D), Clarke (D)

Rebuilding I would do deal. Going top get great player at 3, then 2 good ones at 8 & 9.
Huberdeau is good, think Bennet(?) will match him in the future.

TSN made everyone look like future studs today during the draft.. 3, 8, and 9 could be good picks, but they could also be very bad..

LOL, "don't believe the hype"............it's not a bad offer, but with Florida looking to get better, Hubs will be a major beneficiary. Personally I don't mind the deal and the #3 pick this year could easily be just as good as Hubs in a year..........
