There used to be this guy on the forums that was absolutely 100% convinced that John Tavares wouldn't be an elite player because his skating mechanics were not at an NHL level.
And mercy... he put a LOT of effort into writing his post/opinions and anybody that disagreed with him was... simply put... an uneducated hockey analyst.
He left somewhere around the time Tavares started... being Tavares.

(and most of us, myself included, were very high on Bobby Ryan back in 2011... but still... to say Ryan was a lock for 80pts even without any decent linemates... oh dear)

During the 'dark months' (Nov.12, 2013 - Feb.12, 2014), December and January had zero recorded 100-post members. Closest was Dobber's 98 in December. Over 75% of posts from those months are missing/not put back in.

Ryan asked me to join a league where MT would choose his "nullifying pairs" and we would choose normally. He wanted to do this to prove him wrong. hahahah MT rubbed folks the wrong way.
