I could see Brayden Schenn to LW1, he would be no worse than Hartnell and likely an upgrade. Schenn will certainly fall down for no reason quite a bit less than Hartnell does. Then Couturier moves into Schenn's old spot at C2.

I think Umberger was the price the Flyers paid to unload the remaining 5 years on Hartnell's deal. He goes to 3rd line, or maybe they move him in another deal. It will be interesting to see how it all comes together.

I dont think the Flyers are as worried about finding a winger for Giroux as they are in trying to strengthen their backend. They have plenty of options to play on that top line already.

The Flyers have a surplus of top 6 guys.. They need to bring in some dmen to help keep the biscuit out of the basket!!

Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Schenn, Read, Couturier are a solid top six.. Lecavalier, Umberger, and Downie is a nice 3rd line..

After Scott Laughton and Sam Morin, the Flyers prospects pool is pretty dry.. We are going to see if Hextall has actually learnt anything from Dean Lombardi pretty soon..

I just dirtied the underside of my work desk dreaming about Evander Kane as top line LW in PHI.
They'd have to pay through the nose to get him... but now seems to be the time.
Schenn brothers + future 1st rounder.... probably still not enough.

Moulson might be a good fit if the price is right. He was great playing alongside Tavares and I would expect similar numbers for him playing alongside Giroux.

Would someone kindly name a team that might want to trade for Lecavalier and explain why? I think I have been out of the loop too long and missing something obvious with folks suggesting the Flyers can move him.
