Re: Dougie Hamilton projections
Ok, so there's some short-term projections. Here's my long-term....
Jones
Rielly
Hamilton
Trouba
Fowler
In terms of strictly points and SOG. Jones is going to be a beast, so so so skilled. Rielly and Hamilton are close, but I get the feeling Rielly will have a bit more free reign to create throughout his career, while Dougie will be deployed a bit more in SH situations. Trouba and Fowler are close as well, but Trouba will always be heavier on SOG since Fowler is not much of a slinger. Fowler would need to outscore him by 5+ points consistently to make up that difference, and while that's possible, I don't know that it's "likely". Don't sleep on Fowler though, some sheen has come off of him but he's still a very good young defenseman.
All of these players are extremely close. I have Jones at the top, but it's not like he's leagues ahead of the others. Really, any of them could end up being the best of this group in any given year.
