Yep, I hope so. I see she's now ranked #12 in the world. That means in most big tournaments her seeding should make her 'favoured' up until the round of 16 at least. If she can keep getting relatively deep into tournaments then the more experience she'll get against the top players. Even though the women's game is quite fluid in terms of who's in/out of the top 10, if she can sneak in and hang on that will be huge for her development. Only recently have I seen her play more (saw a bit of last year's match v Sharapova) and am quite impressed. Still has rust at times but wow she is confident and aggressive. Good luck to her!

Yes exactly with higher seeding comes easier early round matchups. She is trending upwards and could easily have a major in her trophy case by the end of next season. Women's tennis is like that and the players get hot for about 2 years and cash-in good. I'm pulling for her for sure. She is very impressive.

Especially after Halep got the ace at match point when Eugenie clearly wasn't ready. She ended up losing that game and even though she had a huge lead I was a little nervous it might throw her off her game and give Halep an opportunity to make a comeback.
