If NY was in the west they wouldn't have made it out of the 1st round, they might win the next game to stave off elimination and give their fans a last breath of hope but that's only delaying the inevitable

I didn't watch this game. Was the reffing as bad as it looked from the highlights?

i think rangers got screwed over last night by some bad calls, but lundqvist acting like he got steamrolled by carter made me stop feeling bad for them.

Can't wait to see Kopi get the conne smythe. if someone were to tell you 10 years ago that a guy from Slovenia would be a two time cup winner with a MVP i'd have laughed my ass off.

the officiating left something to be desired as it tends to do, it really had nothing to do with the outcome of the game though

The best teams always find ways to win...
NYR found ways to lose last night.
The Kings found a way to win (again).
    2 more games to go!

it wasn't a moment to be proud of but when the refs don't make calls the players tend to go to greater and greater lengths to get noticed, he isn't the first player to dive nor will he be the last

LA's third goal was definitely goalie interference, then the refs tried to make up for it by giving NYR a couple of weak PP opportunities.

Overall the game was pretty even, too bad it's not 1-1 as it could have been well on its way to becoming an epic seven game series.

And don't forget the no-call on the puck over the glass just before the winning goal.

What bugs me about the goalie interference no-call was the lack of consistency. Pouliot gets whistled for one earlier and then on the exact same play, King does not! That's what sucks about NHL refs.

No question, I think we will see goalie interference added to the "reviewable" list next season.

The only thing that makes me a little content about being down 0-2 is the fact that the stupidity of people who said that the Kings are going to bulldoze over the Rangers has been exposed. If the Rangers continue to play the aggressive speed style, they have a chance.

Yeah even if they get swept, it would be the least dominant sweep in history

Hard to argue with this, but the Rangers will split at home.

I just want NYR to take an early lead and LA to come from behind and win in OT for the each of next two games.

How freaking awesome/hilarious would it be to have a cup winner lead for precisely 0 minutes while sweeping the series?

Maybe NYR will reverse the AV curse.

Wasn't Van up 2-0 before bowing out to the Bruins in seven. AV has been on the other side of this, series is far from over.

I'd love to see the Rangers come back and win this series, but I called a sweep from the get go and we're halfway there. Obviously the Rangers have kept it close, but the Stanley Cup won't care how you won those games in the end.
