Kings played an amazing road game and perhaps will take the cup home with them after game 4.
It will be interesting to see how NY responds to the shutout loss.
Is this Brad Richards last game as a NY Ranger ?
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
I've gotta say... this is probably the most boring stanley cup finals I've ever watched (or rather not watched).
The hockey is boring, the teams are boring, and there's no drama or sense of rivalry.
"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary, full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen." - Sterling Archer
"Don't spray that urine on my sons window. If you want a dollar for doing nothing, walk to Canada." - Malory Archer
“Anyone who thinks the pen is mightier than the sword has not been stabbed with both.” - Lemony Snicket
They were close games for sure... I saw the Double OT game. Maybe it's just me personally, but for whatever reason, the series is just blah to me. Kind of like a NJ stanley cup final.
I don't know if it's the style of hockey they're playing, or the lack of marquee names involved, or what, but the series just doesn't intrigue or resonate with me.
LA/Chicago interested me deeply. LA/SJ interested me. NYR/PIT interested me. NYR/MTL was interesting. But for whatever reason... LA/NYR = blah
I'm probably alone on this one.
LA/Chicago was the Stanley Cup final like many of us said. It was some of the best hockey you can possibly put together. The Kings were massive favorites by most people and are showing why - it's not exciting, but when the best show good they are, it generally isn't. Watching Team Canada steamroll the rest of the world at the Olympics this year wasn't very exciting either.

man girardi must be cursed, his stick breaks causing brown to go on a breakaway and score. girardi is clearly the kings mvp this round.
Man if Hagelin ever gets Gaborik-like hands to go with his Gaborik-level speed (I think he's actually faster than Gabs now) he's going to be lethal
