Default How to deal with Leagues run by GOD?

I'm looking for advise on how to deal with this situation. Without any notification, I've been kicked out of a Hockey league- Dunamisk Elitserien Liga with no reason or notification. I only found out when I tried to log in. The league owner has the right to dismiss me but does anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with this situation? I've spent a lot of time re-building this team. I've been respectful to everyone in the league. The only reason I can see for this action is I refused some trade offers by the league owner. I feel I should have some rights but what do you do in a league run by God? Suffer his judgement I guess.

Ouch, ask what the removal was about and other than that I'd cut my losses and find a league with a decent commissioner.

If it's a money league then it becomes dicey based on how much you put in and whether or not you got what you paid for. But if not then the guy can do this even though it's not a good way to run a league. Not much you can do other than move on.

I'd mention his username here on Dobber (if he's on the site) so we can publicly shame him.

But short of that, there's not much else you can do. Maybe email the rest of the league as let them know what has happened. But unless there's a big uproar, not much can be done.

I'd ask what happened though. Might just be a mixup with the login or something.

Not a money league so I guess I just accept the wasting time in my life and move on. But I guess I should warn the Hockey Fantasy community how this league, Dunamisk Elitserien Liga is run. I don't want anybody else to suffer the pain of losing a team with no reason given.

I think you right. All I have is the power of social media to post warnings of his behavior. Therefore,

Uh-oh. Now you have gone and opened up a can.....

I'd caution strong retaliation suggestions until full disclosure. Not saying its not justified.....just saying....

I welcome a response from The Hockey Hitman. He's not responding to any of my emails asking for an explanation. Therefore, I felt I had no option but to post in the Hockey Fantasy world's nerve center a warning so no one has to feel the pain of losing something important to them.

I imagine there is a lot more to this story than is posted here...i play in another league with the hitman and he is a stand up guy all the way. If I were him I would not bother with a response.

I think you're blowing this out of proportion a bit. Even though it's a time-consuming hobby it's still just fantasy hockey.

Not sure I disagree with it. If it was "just fantasy hockey", you wouldn't have 15,000+ posts We are all passionate about fantasy hockey and invest a lot of time energy and emotion into our leagues. I for one could not imagine getting kicked out of a keeper league that I had invested myself in without notice or explanation.......I agree that there is very likely more to this story, but I also think OP deserves an explanation and is not over-reacting by asking for one. He didn't come in here flaming and attacking HH, he just wants an explanation and I see nothing wrong with that.

I'm sure HH will chime in at some point and clarify exactly what happened.

I finally received an explanation. Apparently I forgot to respond to 3 or 4 emails and that is reason for dismissal. No appeal, no warning. I'm glad all the leagues I'm in are not run this way or I would have been kicked out of them a long ago. A year of re-building with multiple transactions and I'm gone because of forgetting to respond to some emails. I think the reason for dismissal is very weak. I've been very active with over 30 to 40 transactions in the last year. I'm still pissed at not being given a warning or having a discussion before being dismissed without explanation. But its the Hitman's league and he can do what he wants. I just had to ask for help because this fantasy team did mean a lot to me. I was looking forward to a very successful next season. So that's the other side of it. I lose.

If that is what it takes to get booted, my league would be nobody in it. Everyone needs to be chased once in a while, including myself. There are tons of ways to communicate that take zero energy for a commissioner. There are a ton of leagues out there. Go find a new one.
