I'd like a zombie invasion to start and cancel the playoffs because I don't want any of these teams to win to be honest. Or a meteor. Pick your poison.
If someone was putting a gun to my head then I guess I'd be forced to say I'd love to see the Habs lose in overtime of Game 7 of the Final against whoever. That should pretty much do the same damage as a zombie invasion/meteor.

You guys, the original four NHL teams were the montreal canadiens, toronto hockey club, ottawa senators and montreal wanderers. So yeah, it's so great that ONE of the original four is competing in this year's playoffs!! Here's a handy little history of NHL teams.
10 team pts-only keeper league - keep 10 plus 10 from past/present farm. No bench: entire active roster counts. Goalies: 2 pts/win + 3/shutout. 82 adds / year. NHL playoffs count for separate prize.

I'm a Nordiques fan (even though they don't exist, I refuse to let go) so I can't cheer for Montréal, therefore, I want the Rangers to win. And I really don't care who wins the west, but in the interest of responding to the thread, I will pick Chicago (and the fact LA gave Montréal the cup in '93 will make me cheer for Chicago, I'm definitely not a fan of Healy and McSorley)!

If a Canadian team makes it to the Final I want them to win..... A Canadian team has not win since I've been watching hockey. However this year that would mean my Hawks lose..... So CHI-NYR, still an awesome original six matchup.
