    Default Grigorenko vs. Pageau

Here's a good debate - two kids I own, both of whom I bought low this year almost as throw-ins or afterthoughts to giant deals I made. I like owning them both. Who do you like more in a keeper league that is points only, keep all players, positions do not matter, and waiting is not a big deal?

Personally I would go with Grigorenko. I think he has a much higher ceiling and if Reinhart is drafted by Buffalo I could see them switching Grigorenko to one of the wings which could really increase his value (assuming they develop some chemistry). I don't however see Pageau getting the same opportunties, especially if he stays at center with Lazar having a shot at making the team next year.

I just added Grigorenko in one of my leagues and have Pageau in the other, either would be just fine

Grigs. I think Pageau is safer, and probably closer, but I like Grigorenko's upside.

All about upside. Gotta go Grigs. Besides, OTT is stacked with prospects Puempel, Stone, Lazar, etc. you can never write anyone off, but I would have thought by now he would have made his mark. He needs a change of scenery, IMO.

I can't even see the argument for including Pageau in a poll versus Grigs...

I am not sure what caused Pageau to appear to take a step backwards this past season but it seems like he did. I am not really sure where he fits in with Ottawa. Probably on some sort of offensive 3rd line I guess as he's not really a top 6 guy, and too small to be a 4th line grind guy.

Grigorenko should become a top 6 guy and even at a worst case scenario, he's got enough size to play up and down most NHL lineups. If he can get his game back in the AHL this year, he should be able to resurrect his bismal start to his NHL career and find a way to be a productive player.

I have more faith in Grigorenko finding his way back and being productive then I do Pageau.

Grigprenko isn't going to amount to anything special or maybe won't even play in the league but I'll still take him over pageau

I actually still really like Grigorenko a whole lot. People expected him to put up points relatively quickly, but he's just a normal prospect. Be patient, guys and gals.
