yeah that's the right group given what you have
you have a few players who should be a rebuilders wet dream though so i am wondering if you can maybe upgrade at center and or left wing

Those are the correct keepers, IMO.
You can compete immediately with this team.
I like Drouin... but he's no lock for PP1 time in his first year.
There's no SOG in this pool... and I doubt he'll contribute to your +/-, PIM, HITS.
I agree... cut them loose... (unless their is a team rebuilding - which their SHOULD be in a 14-team league!!!)

I'd say you have the right keepers. Sucks to let go of the potential of Schultz, Fowler, Nichushkin, Yak, Hodgson, Galchenyuk, Kreider but sometimes you need to make that hard decision and not get caught up in the mythical realm of "potential".Originally Posted by Canucks_fan18

Just curious, why is Drouin on your team if you are not keeping him?
Seems like a waste of a roster spot, unless you were undecided about it the entire season...

Unfornately this league is filled with uneducated,cheap GM's who would not get me anything for my youngsters. I have tried. There's only a couple smart GM's and there teams are set up already. Worst case schenerio they go back into the draft and I get a shot at redrafting a couple

I fiqured better to have him there in case I choose to keep him, then let a rival GM have him. And I picked him up towards the end.

Gotcha.....good to hear you didn't hang onto to him all season only to drop him.
Anyway, I agree with the others keep what you have. You can likely redraft or pickup these young guys when they are more fantasy relevant.

I agree with your keepers, as well. I wouldn't count on a McKinnon-like season from Drouin next year, so he isn't likely a keeper for you.
