lol, mcgoo being gracious in victory. Stay classy dude!

I would like for all those Habs fans who thought Montreal should have kept Halak over Price to please stand up and admit they were way, waaaaayyy wrong.

Watching TSN, I heard them praise Bergevin for his moves to acquire "Dream" Weaver, I.M. Weise and Tommy Vanek, but it's more than that. Add signing a clutch playoff performer in Briere and da coach is pretty good too. I guess all things look better when you've just taken out the President's trophy winners.

Without a doubt Price is to thank for this series (and maybe the goal post, 11 or 12 times)

Of course he has to wait till next season to wake up instead of helping his team when it needs him the most. Dude was a total dud this series.

did Lucic and Weise play against each other in the 2011 cup final? seems pretty harsh even for lucic, i could see him directing that hate against someone like subban, but weise? what a joke. you can hate a guy all you want but at least show some respect during the handshakes, it's what differentiates hockey from other sports.

    *sigh* What a (sore) loser.

Good on the Habs, they showed a tonne of heart. Should be a great one against the Rangers!

what a ****ing douchebag...I always kinda had a grudging respect for him on the grounds that he's the kinda guy you hate to play against but would love on your team but this is unreal
it's one of the finest traditions in professional sports, the hand shake in hockey, I've never seen a player disrespect his team and the game like this, I've lost what little respect I had for the sack of shit.
Here's hoping he and Marchand get exactly what is coming to them!

No reason to do anything. Weise has hockey commitments in the near future. Lucic doesn't.

So ... if the Habs win the next round I'm curious if our friend McGoo will even be able to speak english any more if it will all just be a string of ****.

I'm loving the caricatures in this thread.

Absolutely mindboggling insane Habs fan who may just burn something down tonight? Check!
Totally trolling Sens fan who has to butt in everywhere else since their team is a complete letdown yet again? Check!

Now if you'll excuse me, as an Oiler fan I need to go pore over draft picks and talk about 'next year' for a while.

I get a serious "Same thing we do every night Pinky" vibe from this post...

    Just as an aside...

If Lucic gets a disciplinary hearing next year for running Weise or Emelin does this come up in the hearing?

And yes, I do think it is entirely possible that Lucic might follow through...

For sure. If anything, Lucic showed even more stupidity by announcing it to the world. He hits someone from behind, or spears one of those guys again, and the league can point to this handshake line and suspend him for even more games.

How nuts will Lucic be if the Habs actually win the Cup? He may combust before the season begins.
