    Worst:
My Johnson vs his Statsny 2 years ago (I needed the FOW and ending up winning but still hurts to lose TJ)

My Wheeler vs his Frolik (they were both unproven at that point and the Frolik hype train was gaining steam)

    Best:
His Crosby vs my Luongo, Heatley and Lecavalier (Crosby's future was uncertain because he was still on the long term IR and Heatley and Lecavalier had not officially began their decline)

His MacKinnon vs my Green, Marchand, Brunner (Brunner was still hyped and Marchand was a top-50 player that year)

His Price vs my Hiller, Domi, Lee, J.Johnson, Boedker (Price's down year when he raised his arms up in the air after surrending multiple goals in a single game a-la Patrick Roy; his owner feared he would not pan out)

His Pavelski for my Richards and Weiss (another case of hot vs cold)
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
    Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO

W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Maccelli, Sharangovich, Bertuzzi, Kaliyev, Neighbours, Reichel

    G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Merzlikins, Vejmelka

    Minors:
F: Fantilli, Cooley, Bourgault, Perreault, Cowan, Ohgren, N. Foote, Goyette, Iskhakov, Denisenko, Tracey
    D: Simashev, Willander, Lambos

Worst: St. Louis after his first MVP season for Kronwall. Brutal

Best: Eric Johnson for Karlsson and a 4th during Karlssons rookie year
Or Giroux for a 2nd before he broke out
Or Malkin for Havlat and Brad Richards

Last offseason swapping Zidlicky for Vorachek. And then promptly brought myself back down to earth by dealing Ladd for E. Kane.

Worst. Mid season I traded Ovechkin/E. Staal/5th rounder for MacK/Okposo/Parise/1st. On paper this looks ok but we only keep 4. Initially, MacK was going to replace OV as my 4th keeper, but Rinne's play has me trying to trade MacK for a pick...no takers. Anyway, soon after the trade Okposo and MacK got hurt and I ended up losing my H2H playoff final to the GM I made the trade with.

Best. I traded Zetterberg/player? plus 2 1st round picks in B2B years and a 2nd for Crosby. It was Zetterbergs 80 point season.

Not sure. I Also traded Seguin/Quick for Giroux the season before Seguin blew up. Don't totally hate this trade as a Giroux fan and I couldn't keep both Seguin and Quick anyway.

    My best was last summer

    Send Zetterberg, Vanek
    Receive Hall, Voracek, Yakupov

Didn't think Voracek would end up the best player in the deal

One I regret not accepting was Lupul's first full season as a Leaf when he tore it up. I was offered Giroux (injured) and Fowler for Lupul and Enstrom and passed on it. I was competing that year and feared Giroux would miss a lot of time.

Worst was when my league had mandatory position keepers....years ago I had Crosby, Lecav (after his 100 pt season), and Eric Staal as my 3 keeper C. I traded my 4th C (Giroux) since we could only keep 3 C after his 2nd season of 40 pts. At this time he was behind Richards & Jeff Carter....after making my trade of Giroux for nothing more than a 3rd round pick (was best offer out there) Philly decided to trade their top 2 centers in shocking fashion moving Giroux to #1 C and the rest is history.....never hear the end of that one.

His Giroux (when Giroux was slumping) for my Plekanec and Hertl (right after Hertl's four point game) and a 2nd round pick.

That was a total blindside eh! as a Flyers fan I remember being so upset after those two trades... now with Richards in detention and Voracek and Simmonds as part of our core... I am quite happy! Sorry to hear you lost Giroux though!

    Bests:

    1. (1992) Traded Rod Brind'Amour for Alexander Mogilny (AlMo scored 76 goals!)
    2. Traded Dion Phaneuf and 2nd Round Pick (Chris Stewart) for Erik Karlsson after his rookie year
    3. Traded Kyle Turris and Erik Johnson for P.K. Subban after his rookie year

    Worsts:

    1. Traded a young Duncan Keith for an aging Rob Blake (with 2 seasons left)
    2. Traded Roman Josi for Ryan McDonagh

I'm sure there are way too many to list but these popped into my mind.
