Limited keeper league that is in my signature. We are able to keep players for three seasons in a row then either trade them of lose them to FA before the beginning of the four season. I have noted the years kept next to the players, if blank then never kept. I would like to move forward with a goalie, for sure.
Stats: G, A, PPP, PIM, SOG, Hits, BS - W, Sv%, GAA, SO
Pick four out of this group to move forward next year:
Backstrom (1) - Washington
Pavelski
Giroux (2)
Lundqvist (1)
Getzlaf
Kunitz
Weber
P. Kane
Niemi
Thanks for your thoughts!

Damn. Some spicy options there. Assuming you've got Backstrom, Giroux and Lundqvist locked in I think you keep Getzlaf. Pretty strong argument to be made that he was your league's MVP last year. Can you swap picks? Might be a good time to sell high on him.
You might consider taking Backstrom out of that group and keeping Weber. Or Kane but probably Weber.
Tough calls here. Some almost identical fantasy players.
Lundqvist
P. Kane
Backstrom
Giroux
soo tough to leave sexy getzy out of this. maybe you take him over Backstrom instead. I don't know, it will probably change year to year who's considered 'better'.

Lundqvist (G)
Giroux (C)
Getzlaf (C)
Weber (D)
Tough to not keep Backstrom or Pat Kane... but...
When you only roster 7F (70F in league), you can't just go out and roster a dedicated hitter, you have to get some HITS built-into your scorers.
Also, your D men need to be able to block shots - and there aren't a lot of scoring D-men that also block a lot of shots.
I also love Chris Kunitz (LW) in this format.
Probably more than Pat Kane and/or Nicklas Backstrom.
Kunitz & Getzlaf are 70pt/80 PIM/100 HIT scorers.
Especially at center, its hard to find a scorer/PIM/HIT guy not named Ryan Getzlaf or David Backes.
These are my picks.
I can sense your predicament. Darn good choices and the resulting pain associated with letting some really good options go. IMO, it comes down to 4 spots and 7 candidates (ignoring Pavelski and Niemi - not in the same league as these guys)
My choices would be the same as P7 -
Giroux - the best player of them all, according to me
Getz - multi-cat stud
Lundqvist - one average season does not make him any less of the stud goalie he is, and
Weber - one of the truly elite Ds
Feel bad to let Kunitz, Backstrom and P Kane go, but I don't think you have a choice.

Great discussion here! Thanks for the responses....keep 'em coming, plz!
@MD26, yes we can flip picks.
Surprised that Getzlaf was not a lock for you all because of peripherals he adds. VERY intriguing discussion about Weber.
I'll pull the FHG ranking and post it when I get home tonight.
H2H (10 Team): G, A, PIM, PPP, SOG, Hits, Blocked Shots - W, GAA, Sv%, SO
Keep 4; Play 2C, 2RW, 2LW, 1F, 4D, 1UTL, 2G

Getzlaf is a lock, I just think now might be the time to sell high. His goal-scoring this year will surely go down as a career high.
Lundqvist
Giroux
Getzlaf
Weber
Easier to draft top forwards than D men.

Certainly tough decisions but with your scoring cats the choices are a bit clearer IMO:
Weber: In your format...absolute BEAST, clearly a top five option maybe better
Lundy: Still Elite, another top five option
Getzlaf: Top 10 Roto numbers, the closest guy to him is Giroux and it's not even close
Giroux: Next best Roto option and the offensive upside is huge, better than Kane, Pav or Backstrom IMO
14 Team Roto; Keep 25; 12 F, 6 D, 2 G; 10 Farm; 5 Bench; 5 IR;
Salary Cap - 102.5 Mil
Scoring Cats: G, A, Pts, PIM, Hits, BS, SOG, F Points, D Points; Win+Ties+SO, GAA, SV%
Keepers
F: Aho, Larkin, DeBrincat, Vrana, Bennett, Scheifele, Kakko,Tolvanen, McBain,
D: Heiskanen, Fox, Toews, Lundqvist
G: Swayman, Andersen, Copley

F: Gaudreau, Terravainen, Puljujarvi, Kravstov, Zary
D: Brannstrom, Cernak, Alexeyev
G: Korpisalo, Merzlikins
FARM: Rossi, Berggren, Holtz, Savoie, Clarke, Tarasov, Wolf
I think there will be a lot of good goalies available in a Keep 4 League. That being said I would keep:
Backstrom
Giroux
Getzlaf
Weber
Derek Reese - Future Hall of Famer
14 Team NHL Salary Cap Dynasty
H2H, Salary Cap 108 Mil, Player actual salaries

F - Marchand, Marner, Marchessault, Stamkos, Tuch, Comtois, Farabee, Bennett, McCann, W. Nylander, Nugent-Hopkins, Kapanen
D - Barrie, Oleksiak, Suter, Gudbranson, Savard, Lyubushkin, Ferraro
G - Saros, Rittich
Bench - Mittelstadt, Reimer, Roslovic, Keller, Reaves, Toews
Prospects - Byfield, Mercer, Veleno, Chmelevski, Tippett, Comrie, Tomasino, Valimaki, Gustavsson, Wolf
I would go with these 4:
Lundqvist
Giroux
PKane
Getzlaf
if u can draft a team like u had this season u shouldnt be worried to giroux for another season and then trade him or try to get him back in the draft
Another vote for Lundy, Giroux, Kane, Getzlaf.
Cheers.
