I have a feeling people in next year's drafts will neglect a lot of players from the Panthers, which is why I think there are some great sleeper picks that could come from this team. Who do you think will be the top scorer for the Panthers in 2014-15?
My pick is Nick Bjugstad, over the likes of Barkov and Huberdeau. The more I watch him play, the more I think this guy is a stud in the making.
I don't see Sam Bennett on this list.
I got Bjugstad as a keeper in my auction league (cheap), but I think Huberdeau is the one to have next season - think 55 pts +/- 10, Bjugstad 50 +/- 5

Huberdeau. He already put up a 50+ point pace in the lockout year and is going through a classic sophomore slump. if he gets prime minutes playing with the right center, he'll be the leading scorer on the team.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
I own Huberdeau so Im cheering for him of course, but really I'd be happy with any of those guys, as long as it's not Upshall or Boyes or Bergenheim or Fleischmann. Can't believe their top scorer this year has 38 points.
10 team pts-only keeper league - keep 10 plus 10 from past/present farm. No bench: entire active roster counts. Goalies: 2 pts/win + 3/shutout. 82 adds / year. NHL playoffs count for separate prize.

Bennett will be a Sabre
Huberdeau and Barkov will both be in the running, but I would bet on Hubs..
Huberdeau for sure, but the Panthers have some interesting young talent that could take the next step very soon.

I would be surprised if it isn't Huberdeau.

I voted for barkov, but I see Hubs hovering right around the same point total: 50-ish.

All these kids start to infuse better numbers led by Huberdeau!
I think us, being fantasy-biased, will hope for the young top prospect to bust through. It could easily be a UFA signing of theirs...
I voted Huberdeau though.

My main league:
It'll be none of the above because none of them are ready to lead a team in scoring. They'll trade for someone or sign a free agent who will end up leading the team in scoring. Whoever it is I wouldn't expect more than 55-60 pts.
Be prepared to be disappointed.
Huberdeau is a big worry from watching him every game. I am not sure if its the injuries or his mental state but probably a bit of both. But if he keeps trying to be the fancy guy out there and doesn´t keep it simple he will be a huge bust. On top of that he def. needs to bulk up to be sucessful.
I guess i am the only guy on these boards that actually is a Panthers fan and Huby has the least chance unless he turns it arround 100%.
Barkov, Bjugs and Pirri all look like safer bets in my eyes.
Hand Barkov a decent winger or two and his assists will rise a lot. They might actually just convert Pirri to the wing with his nose for the net.
His offensive insticts are awesome and he doesn´t rely on fancy play like Huby does.
Bjugs already has outproduced Huberdeau and again with better wingers he will get more points. He simply has the size to get the points no matter what.
My bet would actually be that the top point getter will be a free agent winger Tallon will bring in with finally being able to spend big dollars.
Commish of UNFFHL, dangered species being the sole Panthers fan on Dobber.
I expected Pirri to have to move to the wing if he wants a legit shot of playing his game with Floriday (offensive skater). You could very well be right about Huberdeau but I like to think his skillset alone will keep him near the top of their team for scoring. He will get the opportunities to skate with the best center (I assume he will line up with Barkov) and top PP time so the opportunity will be his to lose.
