I really like Giordano at the price you can get him for in your league. Campbell is a solid bet for points as the main cog on a young FLA team for offence and he has the history in points only format. Sekera is a low risk move at his salary although not as sure of a thing to remain the top guy from an offensive perspective on the Canes, but his season can't be ignored. Phaneuf isn't as good in this format as Enstrom and possibly Ehrhoff however his discounted rate and name value puts him just above those guys in my opinion.

Dion, Gio, and Sekera should be safe bets for 40+.... Gio is at another level this year, but he's been over 40 before so it's not totally out of nowhere. Phaneuf is down, but he gets the minutes needed for 40+, same as Sekera.

Soup is close, he's just seriously handicapped by his team. He could easily be taken over Sekera if you feel differently about the two. The bottom three are a step below... I still expect Voynov to produce eventually, but outside of one year Jack Johnson was a consistent 35-ish guy in LA playing second fiddle to Doughty. Enstrom.... I don't know I just don't see a reason for him to bounce back. He was force-fed minutes all year and did nothing, that won't change next year. I put him above Ehrhoff simply because there's a small chance. Ehrhoff is just on a terrible team, who could conceivably be even worse next year.

mark giordano 1.8m Easy choice based on price + production


brian campbell 2.8m - steady production and no real threats
andrej sekera 1.3m - not sold on his dominant year, but nobody else in Car (Faulk possibly)(Liles stinks)
slava voynov 1.5m - a down year for sure and I may put him at number 2 on your list based on price. I would expect a bounce back in LA
dion phaneuf 2.2m - I would expect a bounce back season next year,but I hate him too much to rank him higher

christian ehrhoff 3.0m -he would/will be higher on your list when he gets traded this off season (he would look great in Detroit or back in SJ)
tobias enstrom 3.3m - too little from him and too much competition in Winnipeg, even with Byfuglien at forward half the time. Also too much money


Safe picks, Gio, Campbell, and Sekera by a nose.

I would choose these guys too based on your league. With a salary cap, these guys are the best value IMO. Maybe Campbell is the reach but I'd hope for Voynov getting 36-42 which won't be a huge dip from Campbell's 38-46.
