Right now I think I am going to start him, but like you, am a little uncertain.
What ya think?

Halak not playing because he is " not comfortable" playing the Blues.

Oates said Halak told coaches he wasn’t completely comfortable facing Blues for the first time since the trade, so they’re going with Holtby
Ummm what?? I'd want to face a team that got rid of me and try and show them they sent away a good player. Even more so, I'd want to compete vs any team. He's not paid big money on how comfortable he is or isn't.
Even better: at first he wanted to play they changed his mind! Well, he is a goalie so that might explain it!

From the blog: Goalie Jaroslav Halak hasn't forgotten St. Louis traded him. He wants to face his former team tonight. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...g-former-team/ …
I think this says a lot about Halak's mental fortitude.........99% of players relish playing their old team, and he ducks and avoids it. Pretty weak!

I would be stupid to play Holtby in my H2H final right?

I knew as soon as I asked the question that I wouldn't start him which would pretty much guarentee a shut-out. Leading 1-0 after one period... I don't even have to check the scores to know how this turns out.
Luckily my other starter is Bishop so nothing bad can happen there.
I watched most of that game last night and Holtby looked fantastic.
The announcers were talking about just how messed up Holtby has been from Kolzig trying to get him to play deeper in the paint...and how he's just getting to the point of being comfortable in the crease again.
On another note, St Louis doesn't really appear to be peaking at the right time...
