They kept on talking about how it's the safest place, a bit of ominous foreshadowing there.

Also in the season trailer there's a scene with Arya running for her life in the crypts, terrified. What could scare Arya Stark that much? She's running from her parents (and family/ancestors, dire wolves, etc).

At least that's what I think will happen

Wow I am totally on board with that now. They did say we would need therapy after this season, that's probably what will happen.

Yep I'm on board as well. Makes too much sense and would be awful to see. Although I thought they made a point of saying that Ned and Robb's body;s weren't returned to Winterfell, but I could be confusing with the book. Either way I can't frigging wait for this.

Now that you mention it I can't remember either way.

Does anybody know of Sean Bean signed on for a 1 episode appearance in season 8? :-)

Ned’s bones are definitely in the crypt. Tywin and Tyrion had Peter give the bones to Catelyn, who had the remains sent to Winterfell. It is not known where Robb’s bones are. In the book, after the Red Wedding, Catelyn’s body is discovered by Nymeria and Beric Dondarrion gives his life to bring her back to life as Lady Stoneheart. This of course never made it into the show.

Next episode is going to be huge. Expect many deaths. At least Brienne was knighted before she dies lol.

Should we make predictions who won't make it through next episode?

Probably be less work guessing who will make it through.

True. Just one I have a feeling about as even though he got torn down a little bit, he was also getting pumped up by others and will be in the Crypts but I can see Tyrion getting the axe unfortunately.

Theon is 100000% dying. Story arc was over a few seasons ago and he's just been on borrowed time.

Oh no question about that. He has to redeem himself to the Starks first. He will go out with some great sacrifice.

Seemed a bit forced, but those are also two very awkward characters so I wonder if that was intentional.

    Super cringy.

On another note, I don't get why all of the north doesn't flee towards the iron Islands. Send Brand south (with a small force to protect him). It's not like the undead are going to occupy winterfell. They'll just keep moving south.

Force cersei to engage the undead and the northern army follows the undead a day or two behind to sandwich them between the south and the north. This would be their best shot. Let the undead pass! In my view this is their only chance.
