Default Long time reader, need help with picks.

Having trouble deciding the last keeper pick, and would appreciate some feedback. I am a little torn between semin, letang and Anderson. My team is not strong because I traded away some players and I have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds of next years draft. I have decided the ones in bold to keep for sure, so if you guys can help me pick one more that would be greatly appreciated!

I'd keep Anderson. I don't like Semin - too up and down, if it's not an 'off' year, it's an injury with that guy. And I always try to keep goalies in limited keepers

When do your picks have to be in? My first choice would be to keep Letang - if he plays he is a stud. Not that high on Anderson any more and you could draft him or someone better early in the draft.
My next choice would be Kreider, just for future upside and overall stats.
With 4 picks in first 2 rounds you should be able to pick decent players. All your goalies are replaceable.

I will not have to decide keepers until August but I wanted to get some input in because I won't be around most of the summer. Any other advice would be helpful, so right now it is between Anderson, Letang and Kreider. Would there be anyone else that you guys will consider keeping?

I thought about Kreider, but you don't have PIM. The only other person I was considering was Sekera, but he's just one year into his rebirth. To me, it's
    Anderson
    Letang
    Sekera
    Kreider
    Little
    Semin

    In that order

Anderson or Letang, both are injury studs. Gun to head, I'd roll with Letang. When he's rolling, you'd love to have him on your team. He also is quite sought after in our league, so he has more trade value imo. good luck

Ya, Letang for me as well, then Anderson. Lots of guys wrote Crosby off........... For an Elite player, taking the chance is worth it IMO.

Have to agree with the others - Letang it is even though a huge injury risk, but you gotta risk it to win it!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the quick feedback. Right now it will be Letang unless something happens to him in the offseason.

Put me down for Letang and if he gets off to a good start next season you could always move him. Better trade value in the end. Then Anderson.

Can you do offseason trades? If Letang does well in the playoffs you should be able to trade him for somebody with less injury risk who is better than anybody on your list. If no trade possible I'd rank them Letang, Semin, Dubinsky, Kreider, Little. I would not protect Anderson with Lehner lurking and Ottawa in another possible rebuild situation.

No, we cannot do any off season trading. Letang seemed to play well his first game back, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

Letang for me. He may be a little risky but he gives you the best reward.
Semin. I would keep him if he was more consistent. He is more risky than Letang with less of a reward.
Anderson. I think he is done. Average goalie at best. In some of my leagues he is a FA

I'm in the huge minority here, but honestly I'd seriously consider Holtby IF
    a) the Caps fire Oats
    b) the Caps don't sign Halak or any other goalie to challenge for the starter's role

Up until 3-4 months ago, Holtby would have been a no-brainer from that list. I pesonally just don't see Letang being a monster fantasy producer, even if by some miracle he manages to stay healthy so I'd likely be trying to trade him for picks or a keeper upgrade as I'm sure to some he'll still have name value. Anderson is also an interesting choice. Much like with Hotlby though, I'd wait and see what transpires in the offseason. I think Ottawa will give Lehner every chance to be the starter next year and I could see them shipping Anderson somewhere in the offseason.
