I think we're all immune to these salary figures when we hear them. But think about that for a second. $29.2 MILLION DOLLARS. If Cabrera gets a paycheck every two weeks like most of us...then each of his pay checks will have seven figures.

I just want the cable TV packages for teams to burst. Not sure what the status is for Detroit but that cable money is going to dry up as a la carte cable becomes the norm. Look at the percentage of people in Houston who didn't care that they were not getting the local sports channel. I am just so sick and tired of baseball teams throwing stupid money at players and the general public end up subsidizing these teams (see LA).
