who would you pick up for replacement? decent players on the waiver wire, but by the time they are on my roster, the week is over....
Also, our rosters are frozen during playoffs...we can only make a move if we have an injury...
any opinions would be appreciated...thanks!

Pretty good players on the WW.
I agree with Dobber. I went looking to see if any of the other FA's might help you with some of your other cats as well as scoring but Filppula is simply too good to pass on right now.

Camo is on a roll too, but I think I would claim filpulla.
you aren't as bad off as some guys I know with Malkin. At least you don't have Smith and Kreider as well - ouch.

Filp is your best option here IMO.
The Caps tend to get the ball rolling in the final stretch, so Brouwer is interesting as well considering your cats, but I prefer the player that is currently performing rather than the one that ''could''.

It's unanimous then, Filppula is the weiner.
"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary, full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen." - Sterling Archer

“Anyone who thinks the pen is mightier than the sword has not been stabbed with both.” - Lemony Snicket
Filppula is a good option if scoring is your key.
He doesn't shoot much, so realize that you might be paying for it in SOG.
H2H playoff adds depend mostly on # starts you get.
I'd want a 3-start 50pt player over a 2-start 70 pt player.
Penguin, you nailed my dilemma! Tough one cause Geno would shoot a lot, get some penalties...tough one even though Fil is lighting it up...all categories are pretty close in my league, tough to get an edge...although, you can't replace Malkin so you have to play the cards I guess...

It's all schedule in H2H.
Set your line-ups for each day.
Write down the empty slots you have on each day.
Pick the player that gives you the most stats.
Also, in H2H... you have to micro-manage the individual categories and chase down stats that can win you a cat.
In my H2H leagues, I thrive on Friday/Saturday additions for end-of-week match-ups just to win that extra category.
That is the #1 most key strategy (IMO) that the best H2H GMs have mastered.
I think your choice comes down to Filp vs. Cammalleri, and both have 8 games in the last 2 weeks (starting Sunday, Mar 30) and as Pengwin pointed out, Filp does not shoot much, so you have to factor that into your decision making. You could go either way but to me, Filp is the better bet.
