Stamkos trade offer, need advice...

Team/cats in signature...would you do this trade in a one year league?

I get: Stamkos + 6th Round Pick

I Give: Eric Staal + Evander Kane + 4th Round pick

Thoughts? I figure that I could always pick up another "hits/SOG" type guy that I lose in Kane...

Hmmm, this is a tough one. Usually I'd jump on this without hesitation. However, Stamkos might take a bit to get going after his injury and he's points were always going to take a hit without St. Louis at his side. For me it would depend on who is available in FA.

Also, snag Giordano immediately!! He is a top producer in leagues with these stats according to Fantasy Hockey Geek.

But don't roll with 5 d-men in a start 3 league. Flip one of the others to someone for another F

I'd do it and take Brouwer to make up the hits (plus he has been getting points late) to replace Kane and get Gio off FA as well somehow.

Not sure now he wants to swap picks though.

From your signature, I am gathering this isn't a keeper pool. So if it's not a keeper, I wouldn't make this trade. Stamkos isn't going to get going in time to help you. I'd still drop Carlson or Wis for Gio though. Like I'd open a new browser and go do that immediately, but I wouldn't make the trade.

Not A keeper...just a one year, but we redraft teams every year based on standings from the prior season...weird, but its the way it is...

Yea. Non-keeper I would decline. Other members may have different opinions, but I don't think this upgrades you for the rest of the year. The Giordano move though, do that for sure.
