Lehtonen, Halak, Holtby and Lack... what do to
2 weeks ago my goaltenders looked ok with a 1-2 punch of Halak on StL and Lehtonen. Now Halak plays for Washington and Lehtonen is concussed. I have a strong hold on my division and have 2 weeks left until the playoffs start so some time to plan.
I'm thinking I need to dump Holtby for Thomas in the interim. Then I can keep Lehtonen and hope he's back to start the playoffs (no-IR in my league). If he's not back at that point I'll likely have to dump him and roll with whatever I can get my hands on.
In the short term Thomas over Holtby is an upgrade right?

Yes, in the short-term Thomas over Holtby is a definite upgrade.
Lack will be your main option going forward, I think. Halak will be "ok" in Washington, getting the majority of the starts for the rest of the season, but I don't expect his numbers to be anything special. Still, Lack and Halak will be ok for you, with Thomas to spot start until (if) Lehtonen returns.

I'd say picking up Thomas is a good move in any case. I expect Thomas was going to get a decent amount of starts even before Lehtonen got rocked. Now he'll be the default starter for who knows how long.
